Camping Equipment
On a camping safari you stay mostly in camping sites in national parks or private reserves within designated camp sites. Camping facilities are generally good but in places can be basic.
We supply all the camping equipment with the exemption of your sleeping bag (either summer or winter depending on when you're travelling) and pillow. The three-man tents are comfortable with built-in mosquito nets. We supply Artiach self-inflatable sleeping mats which are 5cm thick.
Camp chairs, table and cooking and eating utensils, gas lamp and cooker are also provided.
Food and Drinks
We create 2 delicious meals per day, breakfast and dinner plus usually a snack lunch. Good healthy meals make for happy travellers! The tour guide does all the shopping and meal planning for each group and will try and obtain fresh produce wherever possible. Campers will have most of their meals at the camp sites but stopovers at other eating houses are included in the itineraries. Visitors on lodge itineraries will be catered for by the lodges and also partake of meals in restaurants along the way.
