MOZAMBIQUE TRAVEL INFO
Passports & Visas
The immigration authorities in Mozambique require passports to have at least a six-month validity at the time of entry and sufficient pages to accomodate new entry and exit stamps.
Visas are required by all visitors and must be arranged in advance.
Visas are obtainable from the nearest Mozambican diplomatic mission either directly or through a travel agency (although a handling fee will be charged over and above the visa fee).
Tourist visas are valid for 30 days for one entry, but can be extended for up to three months.
A double entry visa is also valid for 30 days and required when travelling to a neighbouring country and then back into Mozambique. Visa costs are in accordance with the degree of urgency and visas can be obtained on the same or following day.
Applications for visas must be accompanied by your passport, two passport-sized photographs and a completed visa application form.
