MOZAMBIQUE'S ATTRACTIONS

INHASSORO

94km north of Vilankulo, on the coast 15km off the EN1, this small sleepy fishing village is sheltered by the islands, making conditions for boat launching ideal. It is the closest town to the islands of Santa Carolina and Bazaruto with transfers by ski-boat or dhow available. Lovely beaches and excellent game fishing in the channel between the mainland and the islands make this another popular holiday destination, served by two hotels and a camp site.

The town consists of a few small shops, a market, a hospital and some old hotel buildings from the colonial period that are worth seeing.
